Aqua Sampler Instructions
Directions
- Take telescoping tube
- Attach desired meter valve adapter
- Attach to meter valve
- Telescope tubing and tighten
- Torch tubing, continually moving flame to avoid over heating
- Open meter valve allowing water to run slowly for a moment
- Take sample.
Using Chlorine Meter
For verifying chlorine residual after water system has been flushed)
- Fill cup to line with water
- Drop one tablet into cup
- Shake until tablet dissolves
- Turn meter ON, insert into cup.

Important Tips
- Overheating will discolor tube, and damage Teflon seals. (Approximate. 20 seconds disinfects entire tube)
- Have Laboratory representative take samples.
- If personally taking samples;
- Use only new, unused lab bottles
- Have a clean environment. Clean hands, no vehicle exhaust, coughing, sneezing, etc.
- Remove lid, add water, replace lid. (Never rinse)
- Do not touch inside of bottle or lid.
- Avoid water contacting hands when filling
- Store in cooler
- Transport to testing lab as soon as possible
- The Chlorine Meter is only used after the new system has been flushed of chlorine and ready for sampling. Generally, samples should contain less than 1 ppm of residual chlorine.
Warning
- Read Torch Kit instructions carefully
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do no use on water systems with pressure exceeding 120 psi.
