"I wanted to write you and tell you about our experience with your Aqua Tap Tapping Machine.

Our company had to make two each 2" taps on eighty year old twelve inch cast iron pipe for the Escambia County Utility Authority in Pensacola, Florida. We were restricted for room with our equipment and one of our employees told me about your machine that he saw in the National Water Works office in Pensacola.

While I was in National Water Works, our foreman called and told me that the markings on the pipe were DL, made in 1886, and was fourteen inch pipe, not twelve inch. After checking, we found the pipe to be a Class "C" cast iron pipe with a wall thickness of 0.75". We called the Aqua Tap Representative, passed on this information, and they said it would work. They said the tap should take less than a minute. My first thought was that this guy was crazy and I almost walked away, because we have never made a tap that quick.

In conclusion, we bought the Aqua Tap machine and used it instead of our Mueller machine. Each tap took less than one minute! The pipe was 0.75" thick. If I had not watched it I would not have believed it. With all of the new products on the market and everything they promise, your Aqua Tap Tapping Machine will do the job."
